Overview

The Training Education and Advocacy in Miscarriage Management TEAMM Project trains and support healthcare teams to integrate evidence-based, high-quality, patient-centered early pregnancy loss services into their outpatient and emergency room settings. At the end of this workshop, participants will be able to understand the diagnosis of early pregnancy loss (EPL), describe the relevance of EPL management in the outpatient setting, describe the uterine evacuation procedure using the manual uterine aspirator (MUA), and express an awareness of the range of values each member of the healthcare team brings to EPL care and the importance of providing non-judgmental care to patients.
