In the intricate tapestry of healthcare, palliative care emerges as a beacon of compassion and relief, weaving together a symphony of expert assessments, pain management, and unwavering support. It's not just a medical intervention; it's a profound embrace of the physical, emotional, and spiritual journey that accompanies serious illness. Imagine a care approach where every thread is meticulously woven to alleviate symptoms, ease stress, and elevate the quality of life for both the patient and their cherished family. Medical Specialties: Palliative Medicine

Francesca Stracke, ARNP volunteered at nursing homes at an early age and gained a love and care for people facing serious and complex illness. She feels this is her calling, and she is blessed to have found it so early in life! Outside of work, she enjoys cooking (especially baking), long walks, and spending time with her family, friends, and faith community. Languages: English Certification: Family Practice (FNP-C); Hospice and Palliative Care (ACHPN) Professional School: Pacific Lutheran University - Doctor of Nursing Practice Medical Groups: MultiCare, Rockwood Clinic Practice Philosophy: I believe it is necessary to attend to the physical, functional, psychological, practical, and spiritual complexities of navigating serious or complex illness at all stages. It is essential to explore with individuals and their loved ones what they understand, what they want to understand better, what their worries and fears are, and what their hopes and wishes are for their future and their health care. This has become complex in our health care system and deserves personalized time and attention. Special Interests: Serious or complex illness at any stage, palliative symptom management, advance care planning and help with advance directives, goals of care discussions, person and family centered approach.
